RIB Software signs large contract with the City of Miami Beach
RIB Software announced on November 18, 2016 the conclusion of a deal between RIB U.S. Cost and the City of Miami Beach that will provide the City of Miami with Value Engineering based on iTWO-technology in the context of the renovation of the Miami Beach Convention Center.
RIB U.S. Cost will utilize their expertise to reconcile and negotiate GMP on behalf of the city. This task order will entail preparing construction estimates to evaluate and reconcile estimates and proposals submitted by the Construction Manager on the project. RIB U.S. Cost’s services will support overall cost and risk control of the project for the City of Miami Beach.
On the opportunity to support the City of Miami Beach on this highly visible and important project, Glenn Wilcox, Senior Vice President of RIB U.S. Cost, states: “RIB U.S. Cost is excited to have the opportunity to support the City of Miami Beach on a project that will have such an important regional economic impact. Our plan is to utilize our local knowledge and resources, and RIB technology to develop estimates and related analysis and negotiate GMP on behalf of the city.”
The City of Miami Beach is executing a complete renovation to its convention centre to bring it up to – and beyond – the standards of a regular city convention centre.
